We wish all of our clients and stakeholders a safe and happy holiday season.

In that spirit, we share this message from our CEO Kevin Smith:

“QSNTS is an organisation of people who keenly appreciate the importance of the need for people to be connected – it is after all our core business. Providing services through committed people for people who are connected to Country, culture, language and each other in the most amazing interrelationships that stretch back to the Dreamtime and still powerfully resonate today is a rare privilege. To work with people like this for people like them in these trying times makes one appreciate the moment all the more.

"With that, thank you to the Board for its laser like vision when the fog of uncertainty descended. Thank you to the QSNTS staff who kept the shoulder to the grind stone in a difficult year but were there for each other and the clients and were not afraid to mix it up a little. Thank you to the consultants who kept showing up even if it was only virtually. The biggest thank you goes to the clients and constituents of QSNTS who never cease to amaze how a sense of humour and sense of community teaches us all how to behave in such times and for all times.”

With restrictions easing and reunions with loved ones from across borders happening after a very long time, we hope you enjoy quality time with family and stay safe throughout this festive period.

From 1 January 2022, there will be changes to Queensland health directives around the measures to be taken when someone comes into contact with a COVID-19 case. With more people out and about and increased activity at hospitality venues over the holiday season, it is important to remain informed and follow health directives. Here is an outline of the updated requirements taking effect from 1 January 2022.

Thank you for walking with us and sharing the journey in the challenging year that was 2021, we look forward to working with you again in the new year.
